Our world is increasingly diverse—diversity which can be frightening. Our quality of life improves when we feel safe and comfortable in our own communities. Getting to know and better understand others from different cultures and faith traditions allows us to experience a greater sense of security and unity in our lives

The Interfaith Center for Racial Justice (ICRJ) has been working for four decades to build bridges of understanding among people of different cultures and faith traditions. Join us in this important venture whether through attendance at our annual MLK Holiday Celebration of Macomb County, participation in our unique “Listen, Learn, & Live” programming, support of our “Forums on Diversity” segments, and/or involvement in our Macomb/Detroit Multicultural Youth Project. Together we can build a better community, a stronger region, a better world for all.

Hear what people are saying about ICRJ

The Interfaith Center for Racial Justice is an organization that promotes religious tolerance, education, and unity within our churches and communities. The annual I.C.R.J.-M.L.K. Dinner is a terrific opportunity for those who believe in social and economic justice to renew their efforts of transforming Dr. King’s dream into a reality
